This new titan of cruising tugs is unmistakably a Nordic Tug from stem to stern. With a beam of over 16 feet, two full size staterooms and a capacious ship-style wheelhouse, the 52 takes the classic lines of the original Nordic Tug designer, Lynn Senour, into shipdom. With standard power of twin 450 hp Cummins diesels, the 52 will transport her passengers and crew to any point on the globe at an estimated top speed of 18 knots. Slow her down to a passagemaking cruising speed of 9 knots and cruise over 3000 nautical miles without refueling! This semi-custom super tug will bring the legendary design and performance of Nordic Tug to those with a taste for larger yachts.

When you step onto the bridge of a Nordic 42 you immediately get the feeling of a real yacht with its roomy layout and large ship-style helm. The bridge also features a large chart table, 360 degree view and convient access directly to the deck. Powered by Cummins C Series, the Nordic 42's top speed is 18 knots, cruise 14 knots, or slow her down to 9 knots and burn under 3 gals/hour! Built to take the roughest passage with confidence, the hard chine semi-displacement hull gives this tug a stable quiet ride. The hull is hand laid fiberglass construction with full keel to protect the rudder and propeller. She features a spacious walk-around queen stateroom with private head, guest stateroom with head, U-shape galley and large salon. Made in the USA.

This latest addition to the Nordic Tug fleet has all of the same qualities upon which Nordic Tugs has built its reputation: safety, reliability, and comfort, all wrapped up in traditional tug boat styling. In an expanded facility in Burlington, Washington, Nordic Tugs is well under way with the production of this very popular new model. Wih two staterooms , customers now have an option for a boat with accommodations similar to that of the 42 in a smaller, easier to handle and more economical package. Designed by Lynn Senour, the originator of the Nordic Tug design, the 37 shares many of the features found in her larger and smaller siblings such as a hand-laid fiberglass hull with hard chine and full keel as well as the same attributes of speed and seakeeping qualities. The waterline length of the 37 is actually 39 feet due to a molded-in swim step that is essentially an extension of the hull giving her greater speed, stability and fuel economy.  CURRENT MODEL AVAILABLE TO BE SEEN AT OUR DOCKS NOW!
