Nordic Tugs is the original tug-look trawler, with over 800 tugs on the water, earning a well-deserved reputation for quality construction, safety, comfort, stability and fuel efficiency, unmatched by any other trawler. Annapolis Sailyard has been in business for the same 31 years as Nordic Tugs and has also won the reputation for first class service following the purchase of quality yacht. When you buy a Nordic Tug from Annapolis Sailyard, you receive a free 3 day trawler course, insuring that the new owners know their boat well.
Nordic Tugs currently produces tugs from 26-54 feet. The Nordic Tug 26 was the first tug produced and was placed back in into production by popular demand after a 12 year hiatus. It is the prototypical Nordic Tug, a safe, go-anywhere cruising trawler. The Nordic Tug 34 is a single stateroom trawler that is ideal for the cruising couple, with accommodations for an occasional 2 guests. As with all Nordic Tugs, the Nordic Tug 34 is very economical at 8 kts, less than 2.5 gallons an hour, while able to cruise in the mid-teens when needed. Annapolis Sailyard was very pleased to bring the first Nordic Tug 39 to the East Coast. The Nordic Tug 39 provides a redesigned interior, reflecting the recommendations of current Nordic Tug 37 owners and those of our Annapolis Sailyard new boat representatives. The Nordic Tug 39 also introduced new pilothouse and salon windows by Diamond/SeaGlaze, which open up increased visibility from the helm and enhanced visibility and interior light to the salon. These new windows will also become standard with all sizes of Nordic Tugs for the 2011 model year. The Nordic Tug 42 has been the first choice of serious cruisers for many years. Two sizable staterooms, two full heads with separate showers, a large comfortable pilothouse and easy to dock by a cruising couple, or even single handed. For sophisticated grand cruising, you couldn’t do better than a Nordic Tug 49 or 54. The Nordic Tug 49 provides a large salon and galley, an enormous pilothouse, full beam mid-ship master stateroom and another master sized stateroom forward, each with en-suite luxury heads. The Nordic Tug 54 offers all the attributes of the 49 with the options of single or twin engines and 2 0r 3 stateroom layouts. Both are luxurious homes on the water with typical Nordic Tug performance and economy.
