Crossing the bar
Recently, the Annapolis Sailyard, received sad news regarding the passing of one of our favorite Nordic Tug Owners. Helen Brown Leinberger, purchased her beloved Nordic Tug 26, “DAISY”, some years ago, as a present for herself, in celebration of her 85th Birthday.
Helen enjoyed many happy days aboard the tug, while based in Worton Creek, on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. Helen was a frequent visitor at Nordic Tug Rendezvous, Boat Shows and our office, often accompanied by her son, Bruce. It was truly a joy to spend time with Helen and watch her work the crowd. Helen passed away peacefully on, January 24, 2011. Helen's enthusiastic spirit will be missed by all who knew her, especially all of us here, at the Annapolis Sailyard, Inc.
